Since working with Sophie over the last 8 months, my overall fitness, mobility, strength and knowledge about my training as well as my overall wellbeing has improved dramatically. Sophie’s experience in multiple sports at senior competitive levels, development courses she has completed and her time working as a PT have given her a wealth of knowledge she openly shares and is passionate about. My sessions are varied, challenging, enjoyable and created, to work on my goals and to drive improvements in my performance. During the session I always feel that Sophie is completely focused on what we are doing and the session has been extensively pre-planned as part of my programme. The result? I have achieved a variety of PB’s since working with Sophie and my overall performance levels have been improved significantly leading to setting new stretching goals confidently With Soph’s continuing support as my PT and the knowledge she has given me, I will continue to challenge limits and improve my performance.

I have been training with Sophie for ages now, I was only meant to go for 10 sessions and that was over 2 years ago.  Every session we work hard and every session is different.  Sophie pushes me to do things I didn't know I could do and has given me the confidence to train by myself in the gym.  Sophie is a brilliant personal trainer and I would recommend Lo2Max Fitness to anyone.

Sophie is incredible! She first helped me when I experienced severe back pain and we worked to strengthen my core, get me back into exercising and being more careful with my diet. A couple years on and she's now helping me continue that journey and push through some massive personal goals. Exceptionally well-informed, she explains everything we do with great detail and care. I've gone from dreading the gym to loving it. And what's more, she's a great person too! Can't recommend her and Lo2Max highly enough. Thanks Soph!

Sophie is the most focussed and dedicated personal trainer I have ever worked with. Her background in sports therapy is invaluable when it comes to injury rehabilitation, and her patience and positivity provided the motivation I needed to fix a long-standing injury. Where other trainers will set you an exercise and wander off until you've finished, Sophie doesn't take her eyes off you, analysing each movement to make sure specific muscle groups are working as they should. Her insight, depth of knowledge and undivided attention for the full 60-minute session is outstanding value for money. She was recommended by a friend and now I recommended her to everybody I meet!

I would say Sophie is the best personal trainer I’ve ever had. Sophie is a high level competitive athlete which becomes readily apparent upon commencement of training. She has a genuine infectious enthusiasm, winning attitude and is a consistent positive motivator, but perhaps more importantly, she is fun to train with. I found Sophie to have a wide area of expertise, I said I would like to start boxing so she incorporated a regime into our training that took me from literally injuring my wrist if hit the heavy bag to a speed skipping dexterous boxer, her routines have become an invaluable part of my gym sessions. I have vastly improved strength, muscle definition, flexibility and fitness levels.

Sophie fully understands nutrition, rehabilitation, is approachable, immediately easy to get on and is a fundamentally decent and caring person. Ok yes, I’m a fan... I admit it.

I have been working with Sophie for 3 months now. I have had a long term shoulder/back injury which has prevented me from running. Sophie was meticulous in understanding how my injury affected me, and proactive in finding effective ways of working to fix it, and and have been absolutely blown away by the results she has achieved.

My sessions with Sophie quickly became the highlight of my week, partly because of the rapid improvement I was seeing, and partly because her enthusiasm and passion for what she does is totally infectious. Despite being hard work, the sessions are always so much fun. She has been great at assessing how I am doing, and adjusting the session and program to suit.

Sophie is incredibly knowledgeable about what she does. She always takes the time to explain what is happening and why, which has been very important for me when continuing the exercises between sessions. Sophie's understanding of movement is such that she has an impressive ability of being able to pick up small irregularities just by observing. She then highlights it through demonstrations, and gives suggestions on how to improve them. I am now acutely aware of tiny imbalances that I would have never even considered before.

I would recommend Sophie without hesitation. Her knowledge and expertise has been invaluable for me, and her problem-solving approach (combined with a slight competitive streak) means she has constantly worked to find new solutions if I wasn't making progress with certain exercises. She has always been mindful of my goals, and has been totally focussed on helping me reaching them. I look forward to continuing to work with her in the future.

I started to train with Sophie after a few years of training by myself in the gym: my routine was repetitive and I was also suffering from lower back pain. Training with Sophie has been a real eye opener and after training with her I'm not sure I'd ever want to train without a PT again! She has great attention to detail which ensures all the exercises are carried out correctly, strengthening the right areas and preventing injury and I always feel she goes the extra mile to design programs/routines that I will get the most benefit from. She also has an infectious enthusiasm for sports and fitness which is a real motivator when you are training with her and means my fitness levels have improved significantly.
